The theoretical studies provide a multidisciplinary education, with the emphasis being placed on the history of art and the human and social sciences. They notably include the following disciplines : history and theory of art, of photography, of the cinema, of video and of music, network art, philosophy, anthropology, sociology and semiotics, critical studies, cultural studies and gender studies.
The theoretical studies aim to develop critical thinking in relation to the arts and to culture. They contribute to the production of artistic works and the interdisciplinary research projects.
