Lift give lots of excellent opportunities and experiences for me and for all the tech funs who is initiate into create, to imagine  the future, each events is a chance to turn innovation into opportunities by anticipating the major shifts ahead and tome the people who drive them,  it’s a important events for innovation and digital technology , it give me lots of informations from some inspiring speakers and also enjoy and explore the interactive workshops, exhibitions and media projects.

The Lift 2012 proposed a singular angle of attack: Did technology really improved our life ?

This is the question which i wonder for a long time and it could also be the question which influence to everybody who living in modern world.

With the wondering of the effects of the social impact , daily impact to human life from the technology , i was participated to several speeches from David Rowan in the subject that « Startup entrepreneurs should move to Africa now », who was introduce us the opportunities and potential market in Africa, where people full of curiosity of mobile and new technologies.

James Bridle’s  » we fell in love in a coded space », Ben Bashford’s  » The use of artificial emotion and empathy in digital products.  »

A very interesting events and lecture from a Koran artist+scientist Hojun Song was attracted my eyes in last day, his  » The Open source Satellite Initiative  » is a most shining point in the last moment.

Open technology and independent space exploration been spread as a fire into the humans civilizations, from a individual artist&scientist until the entrepreneur of Pay pal and founded by Elon Musk,  the space always a mysterious and almostly non-cognizable space which attract the maxim of our curiosities. This tendency is  going forward and will become mainstream to replace the traditional function of the social system.  Be optimistic to the future will never get lost on the time .

Which was  pity that i didn’t have chance to listening the  » Open source Nuclear Fusion  » of Mark Suppes , who had amazingly build a nuclear fusion reactor with no formal science background. The willing of create new , sustainable, green energy is never a retard subject for thinking about .

Not just the events, i’ve deeply interviewed several peoples include Gordan Savicic,  a digital artist and researcher, who i’ve met in the workshop of HEAD, working with Julian Oliver in several project in the digital art field, who is also a activist ,thinker of the society, the project Critical engineering is a ongoing project which he work with his collaborator, as a strong insight and conscious of the information transparency, the Transparency grenade have a strong critical effect to our society .

Also i’ve interviewed some folks who is extremely enthusiast about the technology, who as himself a independent journalist , from the conversation i discovered and explore the version of future from different prospective , the goldeneye cyborg dude is very dynamic in this events, as a events runner and technology watcher,  he have a lots of knowledges of all on going technology tendency and near future coming products ,which include the Google augmented reality glass, in the moment of Lift is not released yet. After the long conversation with him, he demonstrate a very positive perspective of future and how the technology will give positive impact to our society, that’s also the question in which i wonder , Did the technology really improved our life?

After those rich information or some sort of information overload,  but well digest inside my mind , i have a draft conclusion of that question ,the technology give us positive impact as all the already existing things in the world , but also there are lots of side effect that we might couldn’t see it clear until now , we will have a clear view when the time pass by .

There are another positive points which i’ve got from this events is that i have a earlier view of a startup and what an entrepreneurship could organized , how the collaboration could  be build in different field of research, how the way people organize the events and they own organizations. It teach me a lot from observing those exiting elements and evidences inside this 3 days conference, also make connection with interesting and important people is a big fun of me  . This experience will be very useful for my future collaboration and life development planing.

This events give lots of positive wave and energies to the hungry crowds that are looking for new inspiration and irritation of technology to feed they curious mind.
