As part of the MIDIS ARCHI lecture series, you are cordially invited by the Interior Architecture department of HEAD – Geneva to attend the lecture by Víctor CANO-CIBORRO, which will take place on Monday, October 19, 2026, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. in the Georges Addor Room in Building E.

Víctor Cano-Ciborro is a researcher and educator specializing in architecture of resistance, subaltern urbanism, counter-cartographies, spatial justice, and architectural ethnography in conflict-ridden and stigmatized territories. His work operates at the intersection of architecture, critical urban studies, and radical geography, with a focus on representing subaltern bodies and historically marginalized architectures of resistance.

His Ph.D. thesis in Architecture, Narrative cartographies: Architectures from the sensitive regime of resistance, was awarded cum laude and the Extraordinary Doctorate Prize (2020/2021) by the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
